Who fails?
A-Net might not want to start a precedent of Humans being able to transform.

you fail. try reading the posts it helps.
I want to know why, this guys supposed "game design knowledge" has anything to do with him not being able to read how a skill in the game works.
You people really make me sad about humanity's future

Dictionary.com begs to differ.
as·pect /ˈæspɛkt/ P
Pronunciation[as-pekt]
–noun
1. appearance to the eye or mind; look: the physical aspect of the country.
2. nature; quality; character: the superficial aspect of the situation.
3. a way in which a thing may be viewed or regarded; interpretation; view: both aspects of a decision.
4. part; feature; phase: That is the aspect of the problem that interests me most.
5. facial expression; countenance: He wore an aspect of gloom. Hers was an aspect of happy optimism.
There are even a few more defintions. Aspect could mean different things. Even the norns in bear forms are have aspects of a bear, while still being human-like and being able to walk upright. He did not ready the skill incorrectly. He just misinterpreted it.

no he refuses to understand. doesnt look like its enough that the norn use a skill called bear from and you only get a ursan blessing.
and in skill description the context of aspect is to get qualities of, not to look like

The description left a lot of ambiguity as to if aspect was physical or mental.
Lemme change my argument a bit here. I think what people were trying to say is that why did A-Net not make it a form.

Why would you be able to turn into a bear, wolf or raven? You aren't Norn. The Norn are shape changers. You are a human. You are not a shape changer.
I got all of the blessing skills. Get Truthseeker from Gannar, then you get the quests for the blessings from Hagnir Truthseeker or whatever.

The Norn shapeshift due to their connection with the spirits, you can get that from just playing through GWEN. ANyone can get close to the spirits by respecting them least how I see it.

How about growing up a little please. Ever heard of the word, suggestion, or would like to see done. Were jsut saying what we would like to see, and all your doing is just making a fool out of yourself. Why is it that people like you guys think it's some how wrong to make suggestions or want to see something done. Are you the ONLY ones that know how things should be?

Well at least someone got the joke
I was actually making fun of the (many) people on this forum who believe they have the right to dictate what Anet should and shouldn't do. Because they're paying customer's don't you know - Anet should bend to their every whim

- The Norn can use a skill called Bear Form to become a bear.
- We can use a skill called Ursan Blessing to gain bear abilities.
- These are two different skills, one is a form, the other is a blessing.
- The Animal Spirits are "gods" to the Norn and the Norn are the Animal Spirits' chosen people.
- We get to know Bear, Wolf and Raven, however we will not be as closely bound to them as the Norn will be.
- We aren't Norn, we can't do everything they can.
There we go. A nice list to make everything simple. I'll highlight again the difference between Bear Form and Ursan Blessing.

Has anyone noticed if they've changed how the blessings work, visually? I don't have access to the game right now.
I don't mind if we can't actually take on the form of a raven, bear, or wolf, but I still think some sort of unique animation would be appropriate. Perhaps the ghostly outline of a raven/bear/wolf around your character, like I mentioned before.

The Blessing appears to be the same animations for the Blessing's internal set of skills, but it isn't the Form. I was hoping for a Form too perhaps, just like I was hoping the Paragon would have an ACTUAL set of wings . . . oh well, Aion will solve that need for wingage soon enough.

Who cares if one is a blessing, and the other a "form" -- It would still be cool to be able to shapeshift into an animal, and I really don't see any legitimate reasons to be against it.

It would be nice if they at least gave the bear forms to to the Dervish. Maybe if they had Elite skills in GWEN they would have.
